Elliott Erwitt (American, b.1928) is a photographer who often plays with serendipitous juxtapositions that offer pertinent commentaries on his subjects. He notes Robert Capa, Edward Steichen and Roy Stryker as some of his biggest influences and mentors. Erwitt’s books, essays and photographs have been widely published and exhibited.
