Louise Bourgeois

Louise Bourgeois (French-American, 1911-2010) was a renowned Parisian born, American sculptor and artist. She is best known for her contributions to modern and contemporary art and her spider sculptures, which earned her the nickname Spider Woman. Bourgeois studied art at the École du Louvre and the École des Beaux Arts.
