Yoko Ono (Japanese-American, b. 1933) is an artist, songwriter, and activist. Focused on performance and the avant-garde, she greatly influenced the development of the Fluxus and Conceptual art movements, and often collaborated with her husband, John Lennon. Her work can be found within the collections of MoMA, New York, the Walker Art Center, and the Tate Britain.
