About After Robert Delaunay

Robert Delaunay (French, 1885-1941) cofounded the Orphism art movement with his wife, Sonia Delaunay. Dynamic and vibrantly colored, his works consistently experimented with depth, tone, and shape, becoming increasingly geometric and abstract. His paintings reside in the public collections of the Musee d’Orsay, the Tate, and MoMA, New York, among others.
