From the inventive mind of designer Alan Aldridge, this film poster for Warhol's 1966 experimental film Chelsea Girls was first designed for a special screening at the Arts Laboratory on 182 Drury Lane, London in 1970. The provocative image echoes the narrative and tone of the film itself, one that follows the women of Warhol's circle in and around the infamous Chelsea Hotel.
