An unidentified graffiti and street artist, Alec Monopoly (American, b. 1986) takes his name from the iconic board game. Regularly employing the game’s mascot, Rich Uncle Pennybags, as well as Scrooge McDuck and Richie Rich to comment on capitalist greed, Monopoly’s cartoon aesthetic presents an exaggerated critique of modern society.
