Cletis Williams, 89, stands in front of a wall of freshly hung tobacco in his barn in Spencer County. "I've worked in tobacco pretty much my whole life," Williams said. "Since I was big enough to go in to the fields at five, or six with my dad." Many have moved away from a crop with historic ties to Kentucky following The Tobacco Buyout in 2004. "There's a small amount of people that even try to farm it anymore," Williams said.
