Japanese photographer Asako Narahashi is known for her landscapes emphasizing nature’s vicissitudes–a theme she continues in “Kawaguchiko #2.” Narahashi photographed this work half-submerged in water, revealing only half of the Japanese icon Mount Fuji while the rest hides behind swaying waves. The waves’ surface is dotted by brilliant bokeh, the term itself originating from the Japanese word meaning “blur” or “haze”.
