“Assume Vivid Astro Focus” is a collective of international visual and performance artists, whose principal members are artists Eli Sudbrack (Brazilian, b. 1968) and Christophe Hamaide-Pierson (French, b. 1973). Their work encompasses performance, video, sculpture, and installations, which tackle issues surrounding gender, sexuality, civil rights, class and national identity. They frequently collaborate with other artists, dancers, musicians and designers. They have been featured in several publications, including Artforum, Frieze, as well as Flash Art, and their work has been exhibited internationally.
