Bosco Sodi (Mexican, b. 1970) is a contemporary artist with studios in Mexico City, Barcelona, Berlin, and his home base of New York. He’s known principally as a painter, although the works he creates with paint cross over into the sculptural realm. His works, made of varying degrees of pure pigment, sawdust, wood pulp, natural fibers and glue, have most recently been shown in solo exhibitions at the Pace Gallery, New York, Galeria Hilario Galguera, Mexico City, Taka Ishii Gallery, Kyoto, Project B, Milan, and the Bronx Museum of the Arts, New York.
