Charles Arnoldi (American, b. 1946) is a painter, sculptor and printmaker, who lives and works in Los Angeles. He studied at the Chouinard Art Institute, now called CalArts, for eight months before deciding to abandon his formal training and finish his education with his own practice. He had his first solo exhibition at the Riko Mizuno Gallery in 1971 and from there he was included in Documenta V. His work is held in many major collections, such as the Art Institute of Chicago and the LACMA.
