Description

An Amish girl sits on a haystack October 22, 2003 in Wakefield, Pennsylvania. The Amish, traditionalist farmers who spurn machinery and other modern conveniences, live off the land much as they have for centuries in various communities in rural Pennsylvania and Ohio, and now live side-by-side with modern Americans.
