About Ciocc

Founded by Giovanni Pelizzoli in 1969 and rising to peak success in the 1980s, Ciocc emphasizes traditional manufacturing techniques alongside subtle design details. Pelizzoli’s original frames featured the four suits in a deck of cards, referencing the name, which translates “Poker Face” in the Northern Italian dialect of Bergamo whence Ciocc originates. Today the brand continues to produce a “Vintage” range and to champion its racing heritage.
