Description

Workers haul loads of sulfur as they ascend from the crater of Mount Ijen. Mount Ijen, in Indonesia’s East Java island plays host to the last remaining active sulfur mine in the world, perched on the edge of the world’s largest acidic lake, turquoise in color.
