About Deborah Kass

Deborah Kass (American, b. 1952) is an artist known for her Pop art aesthetic, often drawing upon the work of artists who came before her, such as Andy Warhol and Ed Ruscha, and for her exploration of Jewish culture and its icons. Kass studied at Carnegie Mellon University, the Whitney Museum Independent Study Program and the Art Students League of New York.
