Eddie Martinez (American, b. 1977) is a painter who combines classical techniques with pop culture references, bold color, and strong contours. Developing his style from a young age, he manipulates swaths of vibrant color in an aggressive and charismatic fashion, creating vividly complex compositions. His work has been exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Michigan; the Bronx Museum, New York; and the Saatchi Gallery, London.
