Edward Burtynsky (Canadian, b. 1955) is one of the most respected and internationally exhibited photographers living today. His photographs of industrial wastelands and manufacturing plants have not only spurred action against unsustainable industry, but also remain invaluable documents of a world in ecological crisis.
