"Woander Façade is one of several photographs I had taken of my completed site-specific installation outside of PS122 Gallery in 2003. The title Woander combines two verbs, "wonder" and “wander," to reflect the experience of one’s search through the subconscious. My ongoing production, creating a dense mass of various loops and knots made from rope and twine, was staged as a two-month performance. The brightness of the rope emphasized details of meandering lines and clusters of knots amid a utilitarian urban site, an enticement to viewers who were able to engage with the artwork during the period of its public display."
