Invader is known for his small mosaics depicting 8-bit figures from the arcade game Space Invaders which he surreptitiously places in urban environments around the world. Here the artist evokes an element of another old school favorite, the Rubik’s Cube. The classic colors of the toy merge seamlessly with Invader’s playful grid and nostalgic aesthetic.
