About Jason Meadows

Combining abstract and representative styles, Jason Meadows (American, b. 1972) seeks to explore the notions of space, narrative, and form through his sculptural work. Constantly challenging traditional narratives and perspectives, he uses wood, metal, and found objects to create spatially complex, rough-edged standing and hanging structures. His work resides within the Tate Modern collection, London, and has been exhibited at De Appel, Amsterdam, and Gagosian, New York, among others.
