With long-standing connections to the Telluride Film Festival, Laurie Anderson was chosen to design the poster for its 35th occurrence in 2008. Seen here, the poster depicts a vintage, red theater chair. The chair itself, which featured in Anderson’s book ‘Night Life’ (2006), came to the artist in a dream about a Telluride theater, making it the perfect salute to the festival’s films and the audiences that watch them.
