About Lemond

In 1990 three-time Tour de France winner Greg LeMond (US) founded LeMond Bicycles, developing bicycles for himself that could also be offered commercially. He licensed his designs to manufacturer Trek in 1995, resulting in a partnership that ran successfully for 13 years. In August 2016, LeMond announced his involvement with the US Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge National Laboratory on a new method of efficient carbon fiber production under the company LeMond Composites.
