From Artist: "One of the things that I always stop to contemplate is clothing because it expresses so much of a person, even though we have not met them. Sometimes it transmits more than what the person can say. The attire of nuns is one of those attires that matches this description. I do not need to see the face of the person to know what they represent. It is an attire that even out of its usual context, allows me to understand or question what it expresses and that lets me appreciate their vocation. A garment with a strong symbolic charge, a commitment to spirituality, and a detachment from conventional life."
