About Outland

Despite the overwhelming success of the pioneering Outland VPP mountain bike suspension launched by Jamie Calon and James Klassen in 1996, Outland declared bankruptcy two years later. The technology patent was purchased by Rob Roskopp of Santa Cruz Bicycles in 1999 and the suspension design developed further
