Ray Richardson is a contemporary artist known for his paintings which incorporate the icons of working-class London. He was born in South-East London and attended Saint Martin's School of Art and Goldsmiths College in the 1980s. Richardson has received significant international recognition for his work, including multiple British Council Awards and exhibitions at galleries across Europe. This miniature painting is conté and oil glazes on canvas, intending to represent the Sisyphean battles faced by those experiencing homelessness.
