Sam Falls (American, b. 1984) works in the media of photography, painting, drawing, and sculpture. Falls has a particular fascination with the influence of natural phenomena, such as light, rain, time and wind, on his abstract works. He claims that his goal is to create pieces that are "formed over time, rather than captured in an instant." Falls received his MFA from the Institute of Contemporary Art-Bard College, Red Hook, New York and his BA from Reed College in Portland, Oregon.
