American photographer Sam Scott Schiavo has created a body of work heavily influenced by a self-described love of cinema, especially film noir, neo realism, and underground. While set in the present day, his works echo feelings of nostalgia and past recollections. Though the artist began working as a professional model in Milan, photography has become his primary artistic medium. Schiavo currently lives and works in Europe, where he has resided for the last 35 years.
