The sultry gaze of Tim Hailand’s 'Dan arm up vineyard Vienna, 2012' is an unapologetic and unabashed celebration of sensuous youth. Mirroring the languid limbs and stoic allure of Hellenetistic statuary, Dan lithely invites the viewer to appreciate his nubile form. Inspired by the staid calico wallpapers of Claude Monet’s Giverny, Hailland transposes this youthful portrait onto distressed green and brown cotton.
