The present box set contains the partial portfolio of 26 of 27 silkscreen prints from Beautiful Losers. The 2008 film Beautiful Losers documents the rise of a do-it-yourself culture of street artists. Beginning as teenagers spray-painting monikers on the streets of West Coast, this group came to be one of the most influential creative voices of its generation. Alleged Gallery, founded by film co-director Aaron Rose, was a space for the collective to flourish and eventually contributed in shaping street art as we know it today. As Rose explained in the film, "I felt always like I was part of a larger thing that encompassed a lot of people. And all of those energies of all these individuals and all of their unique talents is what came together to make that thing happen."
The portfolio set includes the following prints:
Thomas Campbell ("People Of Pangea Unite"), Henry Chalfant ("Lee, Futura, Dondi"), Larry Clark ("Untitled"), Cynthia Connolly ("Oneida, Ohio"), Cheryl Dunn ("Drafted"), Shepard Fairey ("OBEY Soup Can I"), Glen E. Friedman ("My Rules"), Evan Hecox ("Kyoto Street"), Wes Humpston ("Bulldog Skates"), Jo Jackson ("Untitled"), Todd James ("Bullies"), Andy Jenkins ("Scribble Scrabble"), Chris Johanson ("Why Are They So Frantic?…"), Harmony Korine ("Untitled"), Ari Marcopoulos ("Justin"), Geoff McFetridge ("The Hidden Radiance"), Barry McGee ("Untitled"), Ryan McGinness ("Pathetic Lucky Charms Of The Hipster Doofus"), Mike Mills ("The Cops Are Inside Us."), Raymond Pettibon ("Untitled [Apply it...]"), Steve Powers ("Untitled"), Terry Richardson ("Untitled"), Craig R.
